Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
For almost ten years, New Day for Children has provided long-term care and education to American girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking. In addition to schooling, the girls live in a community with our teams and with one another, participate in various outdoor adventures and activities, and go on special outings.
Loved Twice started in 2005 when Lisa Klein, Founder and Executive Director, responded to a Craig’s List posting from Louisiana asking for donations of baby clothing after Hurricane Katrina. Having just had her first child, Lisa was deeply moved to contribute. She rallied other San Francisco Bay Area mothers and collected 200 pounds of baby clothes in four days.
Camp Krem – Camping Unlimited for the Developmentally Disabled’s mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in a supportive outdoor atmosphere of acceptance, fun and adventure. Since 1957, we have provided children and adults with developmental disabilities a full program of recreation, education, fun and adventure.
