Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and, have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning, a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

The Charities

Hospice South Canterbury
Peter O’Neill
Making Happy Endings

Hospice South Canterbury was established almost 30 years ago with the aim of providing a specialised health care service to those with life-limiting illnesses, along with support for their family. We operate a seven bed inpatient unit in the suburb of Highfield in Timaru which runs 24/7 throughout the year. A half of our patients arrive for end- of-life care, a quarter for symptom management and the other quarter for respite care, giving their main care giver a break before returning home.

Child Resources for All

The best research in the world tells us the greatest social good will be achieved by investing in a child’s earliest years. That research is at the core of our vision “1000 days to make the difference of a lifetime”. It’s our vision and passion to ensure all tamariki/children are thriving, and that parents are supported to become confident and knowledgeable about their children’s needs. To make sure no family is isolated or unable to cope. We are tasked with raising $230,000 per year to keep these services going.

Street Cats South Canterbury
Janelle Gould
Fostering a Feline Frenzy

Street Cats South Canterbury aims to vastly reduce the stray cat population within the South Canterbury area. We started in June 2014 and since then we have re homed over 1500 cats and kittens. Most of these strays have come from residential properties where previous tenants have left behind an non-neutered cat and it has gone on to breed numerous kittens, which have become a problem in the neighborhood. We also have rescued a large number from commercial areas and farms.
