Frederick: Donates $22,200

Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and, have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning, a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

The Charities

The Whole Heart Center
Denise Rollins
Healing After Loss

The Whole Heart Grief and Life Resource Center is a catalyst for bringing C.P.R. (Comfort, Peace, and Restoration) to individuals, organizations and communities by igniting internal transformation that leads to external results. Founded by Denise Rollins, it leverages her education (a masters in grief and death and PhD in marriage and family therapy), skills (gained from management roles in HR, Diversity, Mentoring, Sales, Insurance, and the funeral industry), and experiences (her parents’ divorce, fractured relationships, and the sudden deaths of her mother, son, aunt, and husband) to aid the Frederick community and beyond.

Frederick Rescue Mission
Kathy Schey
Faith to the Rescue

The Frederick Rescue Mission has been serving the Frederick area since 1964. We are a Christ-centered ministry providing residential recovery programs to the homeless or chemically addicted, food to the hungry, clothing and furniture to the needy and connections within our community through relationships. At the Mission, every program and service is driven by the desire to introduce people to Jesus Christ. Our goal to meet basic human needs and equip others to do the same. To this end the Mission served over 133,000 meals, served over 1,000 cold weather shelter clients and utilized over 5,000 clothing visits.

Mental Health Association
Shannon Allestire

Mental health is about all of us. Because healthy people and healthy families are the foundation of a strong community—our homes, schools, neighborhoods and businesses–mental health doesn’t just affect everyone, it connects everyone and builds up the community we share. MHA supports families, saves lives, and makes our community whole. Regardless of age, circumstances or financial resources, our programs are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With 13 active programs that serve over 50,000 of your friends and neighbors each year, we provide education, advocacy, empowerment, and treatment for everyone, from before birth to old age.
