New Haven Schools Foundation believes education has the power to change lives. Children are our future, and a rich educational experience is critical to their success. We make exceptional student programs possible by providing support at every grade level and in every school in the New Haven Unified School District. Our “Pathways to Success” scholarship program will grant $135,000 in aid to graduating seniors of the class of 2018, enabling many phenomenal students to attend college who might not otherwise be able to afford it. We also support dedicated classroom teachers, many of whom pay for supplies and materials out of pocket in order to help students learn. We support innovation in classrooms and in enrichment programs that broaden the skills our students will take with them when they enter the workplace and compete for the best jobs. Funding broad-based programs that teach students to think for themselves and to formulate solutions to problems is a simple way that everyone can invest in the future of our community and even our country.
