Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and, have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning, a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
Education Without Walls provides motivated, yet at-risk teens with the skills and confidence needed to help them break the cycle of chronic poverty. Education Without Walls provides full scholarships for students, covering 100% of all costs associated with participation in meaningful outdoor adventure expeditions and a weekly mentorship program.
Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc. (DVSS) has empowered victims and their families to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing shelter and on-going support services, as well as prevention initiatives for over 32-years. Our direct services include, but are not limited to emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis intervention, advocacy, material assistance, criminal justice system accompaniment, children’s programs, and support groups.
The Rape Crisis Center of Coastal Horizons Center (RCC), is the only stand-alone rape crisis center in Southeastern North Carolina. Serving New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender Counties, the RCC provides free and confidential services to victims of sexual violence in our community. RCC staff, interns, and volunteers provide 24-hour crisis response to victims via the hotline and in person at hospital emergency rooms.
