The Charities
Fair Haven is Lake County’s Rape Crisis Center. We provide 24-hour direct advocacy services to victims/survivors of sexual assault. Our Direct Services Department provides 24-hour Rape Response Services that are offered to Lake County, IN
Sojourner Truth House is a 22-year-old Day Center sponsored by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to help homeless and at-risk women and their children by providing hospitality, advocacy, integrative services, and collaboration in a safe, trusting environment.
Chasing Dreams was established 7 years when a local new mom had a little girl with a disability and realized the overwhelming need for parent support, educational programming, resources and socialization in the area.
