South Canterbury Donates: $9,000

Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

The Charities

Coastguard South Canterbury
Nigel Adams
Bringing Them Home

Coastguard South Canterbury was formed in 1994 and since then we have helped save multiple lives and also have helped to spread the word of boating education in our local area. We have the ability 24/7 to provide search and rescue services. Our unit is made up of 12 dedicated volunteers who train very hard to ensure that in the case of a marine emergency people are brought home to their families.

CCS Disability Action South Canterbury
Melissa Smith
Living Life to the Fullest

We offer a broad range of support services for disabled people, family and whānau. We aim to match services to each person’s stage of life, needs and, most importantly, aspirations. Our services focus on helping people to navigate and access support options, providing good information, creating meaningful community connections and our staff work as advocates to ensure all people’s voices are heard.

South Canterbury Rural Support
Sarah Barr
A Network of Neighborhood Support

The South Canterbury Rural Support Trust was formed in 1998 in response to the economic and climatic conditions affecting the rural community at the time. We are one, of a network of 14 Trust’s operating nationwide in support of rural communities. Each Trust operates independently in their regions but do enjoy collaboration with each other.
