Highlands Donates: $8,600

Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

The Charities

Heart of the Cumberland

Guidance Through Grief

Grief affects each of us differently and surpasses all boundaries. Grief will touch each one of us at some point in our life and many, if not all, will experience some type of loss in our life. We provide services for grief (death – natural, suicide, murder, early infant, homicide) and loss (divorce, divorce of parents, incarcerated family members, deployment for service, deportation of illegal immigrants, foster care placement, and living with grandparents).

Putnam County Family YMCA

Making A Difference

The YMCA is a charity, open to all that is dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. For 39 years, we have been proud to help our neighbors learn, grow and thrive. Just like many other Y’s, the YMCA started with nothing but a dream to serve our community. A group of dedicated volunteers started the YMCA in 1979. Back then, we served our community through donated spaces.

Lending A Hand

Helping Hands of Putnam County serves low income families and families experiencing an emergency in Putnam County. We are best known for our food shelf – which has averaged giving 170 families a month food during 2018. While food is the largest service we provide, we also help with utility payments, rent, medications and gas vouchers to get to doctor appointments outside of Putnam County.
