Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
Sweet Zola’s employs individuals with disabilities, providing them on-the-job training as well as on-site therapy. Sweet Zola’s is one of the few companies in Idaho exclusively hiring employees with disabilities, providing them opportunities, job training, and societal inclusion.
The Shoe That Grows – a shoe that grows five sizes and lasts for years. They started the nonprofit organization Because International to serve as the structure to get The Shoe That Grows to as many kids as possible who are in desperate need of footwear to protect their feet.
LEAP is a Boise-based nonprofit that assists community members in need of affordable housing through innovative, new programs/projects. LEAP has four programs aimed at helping an individual anywhere on the housing stability spectrum: Welcome Housing, Yes You Can, ROC and Development.
