Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
Hunger robs children of a chance to learn, undermines health, and makes obtaining and retaining good employment even more difficult. Each year, over 540,000 DC, MD, and VA residents receive access to healthy food. T.G.N.C.K. is a 501(c)3 organization that provides hunger relief to….[those] who identify being food insecure.
On January 28th 2009, my daughter, Shayla Mitchell, lost a hard fought battle with childhood cancer (Hodgkin’s lymphoma). Shayla was a brave girl who never quit fighting. She endured hours and hours of brutal chemotherapy sessions and radiation treatments. She experienced many complications, including 5 heart surgeries.
ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter and supplies to families devastated by natural disasters and conflict. Delivered by our volunteers, ShelterBoxes and ShelterKits contain materials to meet basic survival needs, to give hope, transform lives and help to rebuild communities.
