…as “code” and “programming” is not a language I speak.

I’m a “tech” dunce.

Before I hired this crew, I had interviewed nearly a dozen different so-called experts. Everyone, of course, bills themselves as an “automation” expert. They take a class, and someone certifies them.

But then you start asking questions. You start probing, to see how deep their knowledge really runs. Sometimes it’s hard to tell, because I don’t really speak their language. So first, I asked a tech friend of mine to give me some questions, with the kind of answers I should anticipate.

Eventually I just had him jump on the phone with me.

I asked the initial question –

Then he’d probed deeper until we could conclude 1) that the person was full of shit, or 2) he simply wasn’t skilled enough to build the vision that I had in my head, and had mapped out in the wireframe.

Quite literally, this went on for 2 months. Every week we had a call with another tech firm.

Then I had a call with Chris Johnessee (on the far left in that picture above). Chris was one of GetuWired’s senior project managers. He wasn’t a tech guy. I realized, like that hit CBS show Scorpion, his job was to be the “SuperNanny.”

You know, the guy who’s responsible for translating the “genius programmer speak” to the every-man “what did he say?” language…that I could understand.

And he did it well.

From there, the rest is history.

Fourteen months later, in the last two weeks alone, we’ve successfully transferred over more than 300 current Impact Club® members and processed (thanks The Giving Group – our online donation processing partner) more than $30,000 that was directly donated to our local charities.

Now the *CURRENT* member Migration continues:

Starting on 3/2 (today) – Impact Club Tri Town – (expect email instructions in 2 hrs)

Starting 3/4 – Impact Club Boise

Starting 3/5 – Impact Club Coeur d’ Alene

Starting 3/9 – Impact Club Wilmington

Then the next round…
