I apologize for not sending an update last week. The good news though? We successfully converted Impact Club Frederick and Conejo Valley over to the new back-end infrastructure.

And while I’m stoked to have a “version” to share with you, my team and I, and my co-founders, still have a lot of work to do. With the infrastructure in place, now we’ll build Operations…

When this happens, what 37 things happen next? – and in what order?

We have working versions of those now. But they could be (and will be) much better, as we continue to fine tune. Many of you are counting on us. We refuse to let you down.

If we let you down, then we let down our local charities.

And thus: Our communities.

All in all, the conversion of the first two clubs went well. The Giving Group integration to ensure safe, secure online donation processing – was a dream come true. No more chasing as a collections agent. And, for *converted over* members, now they can manage their account and donation preferences from direct inside their Profile page, inside the Dashboard.

Tax receipts, delivered instantly. (Woo-hoo!)

Funds are moved to the Winning Charity in just days, rather than weeks (after manually collecting). (Yes!)

Like I said, all in all, there’s a lot to celebrate.

But the work never ends.

For those who asked about ‘Sponsoring an Impact Club event’ to help us fund this beast, stay tuned. To create total transparency and fairness, across all Clubs, we are standardizing those packages.

We’re still about 60 days out, but those options are coming.

We want to create more opportunities to amplify impact, and of course, continue to innovate on our infrastructure to support that impact. But we’re also keenly aware, that requires capital.

So while we must move fast, and swift.

We must (also) move smart.
