Precious Treasures Mission, INC.

Precious Treasures Mission has been serving families in Yuma County for over 29 years. The organization has seen countless lives changed through the services provided for youth, and the families we serve in our community. The services provided range from providing an after-school program providing free tutoring and support for youth at our youth center, to providing furniture, clothing, household items, food boxes, school uniforms, school supplies, to scholarships to children pursing higher education. As a non-profit, we count on community support through donated items, monetary donations, and also prayer to keep Precious Treasures going at no cost to youth and families. Precious Treasures objective is to instill in the youth the importance of social and academic achievement to become contributing members in their community. Our goal is, through the services provided, that youth will learn to use social and critical thinking skills as learning tools to help them reach their personal goals. The heart of Precious Treasures is our youth program. Our youth range from kindergartners to high schoolers each coming from a unique background. At the youth center we teach the youth skills such as computer science, sewing, knitting, fishing, and many more activities.
