Healthcare For Homeless Animals
Healthcare for Homeless Animals (HHA) was founded in 1996 as Malibu Pet Companions (MPC) by an Agoura Animal Shelter volunteer who wanted to find a way to fund medical care for homeless shelter animals to avoid un-necessary euthanasia for treatable conditions. HHA was formed as a 501c3 non-profit corporation, and the result has been thousands of animal lives saved. Many of these animals would never have been given a second chance without HHA funding, and would have likely faced the fate of euthanasia. Fortunately for those homeless pets at the Agoura Animal Shelter, HHA can fund any kind of care needed from minor to major surgeries (including spay/neuter), diagnostic testing, even special food and prescription medicines.
