Seeking to put God’s love into action, Putnam County Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Since 1995, volunteers and donors from Putnam County have partnered with Habitat families to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own home alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage when their home is complete. Habitat supporters and Habitat families working together, side by side, promotes understanding and self-reliance. A decent home gives Habitat partners the strength, stability and independence they need to create a better life for themselves and their families. This partnership between PCHFH, families and our community has built 76 homes in Putnam County, with a vision to build 47 more in Habitat’s newest development, West End Place.
