Christian Youth Theater

CYT is dedicated to developing character in children and adults through training in the arts and by producing wholesome family entertainment, all of which reflect Judeo-Christian values.” This is the mission statement of CYT. It is simple and straight forward. However what this organization is able to do with and for children is remarkable. Our program is designed for young people ages 5 to 18. Our “Actors Unlimited” class meets the needs of our high functioning special needs individuals. Through the time our students spend with us, we use the vehicle of musical theater to teach life skills while instilling confidence in each participant. Our program is for all children who find interest in the theater or are perhaps just looking for a place to belong. With a highly trained staff, our students are often surprised when they realize that we are in the business of helping young people to reach their full potential, no matter where their lives might take them. We try and implore them to reach for their particular star; no matter where it shines. As they leave our program we hope they will be more prepared to follow their life’s journey with enthusiasm and courage.
