CCS Safe House

Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona has responded to the needs of the suffering and grown as our community’s needs have changed. In fact, CCS-Safe House has provided emergency shelter services to victims of crime for over 35 years. Our Mission statement is “We strengthen children, adults, families and communities by providing help, creating hope and serving all.” Safe House is the only domestic violence shelter in Yuma County, we provide a safe environment of those needing to flee a harmful situation. Safe House is available to survivors; both men and women with children fearing, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, stalking and trafficking. Our advocates provide support for court accompaniment and orders of protection; we provide case management services, counseling services and educational groups. The ultimate goal of Safe House is to help adults and families re-gain control and transform their lives, breaking the cycle of violence. Today, CCS is a vibrant family of five agencies and three ministries. We have over 500 employees and thousands of dedicated volunteers and donors. With the support of our clients, staff, volunteers, and donors, CCS touches nearly 100,000 lives each year. We provide help and hope for people of all ages, races, and faiths.
