We Did It!

“Impact Venture Capitalists!”

Morning Team…

Did you ever doubt that we could do it? I hope not.

You may remember in my last email, announcing that one of our own, Rob Scheer, founder of Comfort Cases, and previous Impact Club winner was in the race for $75K. He needed our voice.

Well – you did it. WE did it.

WE, and many others, came through for him: http://ShoeLoversCare.com

Big Winner – $75,000

Rob, as well as myself, thanks you:

PS: In case you missed it from last week, my email:

Rob Scheer, founder of Comfort Cases (and previous Impact Club winner) needs our help. See that image above, at the time I screenshot that, Comfort Cases was just 8 votes out of first place.

DSW Shoes is giving away $75,000.

If Rob could pitch Comfort Cases himself, he would dominate. But DSW assigned a store employee or something, Erica the “Shop Ninja,” to try to make the compelling case for Comfort Cases, on Rob’s behalf…

See for yourself, go here: http://shoeloverscare.com

Scroll down to “Comfort Cases”

Watch her video.

Then compare hers to Rob’s, presented at Impact Club:

Like I said, if Rob could tell his own story, this wouldn’t even be a race. He would be 21,000 votes ahead. But since that isn’t an option, he needs our help. He needs your support and vote. As Impact Venture Capitalists, our commitment is the long-term support of the charities we invest in.

Not just with our quarterly $100 donation. (which is amazing).

But with our Voice!

Rob, I assure you, will be grateful and thankful – $75,000 is on the line. Where if he wins, hundreds, if not thousands of children in the Foster Care system, will be helped by Rob’s work with Comfort Cases.

Voting will take you 30 seconds, if you could spare it.

Voting ends soon.

I’ll keep everyone updated too, on the outcome. Rob is an incredible person, doing amazing work. I certainly hope we can come through for him. It would be a nice testament to the power of our Community.

Step 2 – Scroll down to “Comfort Cases”

Step 3 – Click “Vote”

That’s it.

Making an Impact on one of our own, doesn’t get any easier than that!

Let me repeat. Your voice (backed by the power of story) is the greatest Impact you can deliver to this world. Whether you want to help or inspire someone. Grow a business. Or push forward a cause…

Your voice is the answer, backed by well-chosen words!

Note: Impact Coeur d’Alene is off to a helluva start – 20+ founding members in less than 24 hours. They’ll hit 50 by the end of the weekend. And my guess? Hitting that 100 member mark, will be achieved too.

Thanks To Impact Club!!!!!

Thanks to Impact Club, this is the launch of “Hope on the Go!”

Thank you.

Hi everybody, I’m Krissy Allen and I’m the founder of Hope’s Community Closet, this is Nicole Gann. She is an Impact Club member, and also a long time volunteer with us. Hope’s Community Closet is a program. We’re located here in Temecula. We provide clothing at no cost to low-income kids. Kindergarten through 12th grade. We outfit them. Help relieve the burden for the parents, and also help kids to feel confident and happy when they go to school. We got together, a bunch of our volunteers, and we had a steering committee meeting, and just talked a little bit about what’s going well, what we can improve on, and just some of the challenges we’re facing.

There’s a population of kids that we felt were being under-served by us. Those are the kids that are living in foster group homes. Kids that are living in a domestic abuse shelter with their parent. With their mother. We also have kids that are homeless that are living in the homeless shelters. A large population are the kids whose parents do not speak English.

Because of Impact Club, we’re starting a pop up boutique program where we will go to those under-served communities, to those homes, and different things. Nicole is our new program director. The program is called “Hope on the Go.” We are excited now to be able to not only serve those families that come into our store, but because of this program, we’re gonna be able to serve so many more in this community. Thanks to Impact Club, this is the launch of Hope on the Go.

So, thank you all.
