Skeptical.

“Impact Venture Capitalists!”

Hello Team…

That photo, definitively represents the Spirit of Impact Club. We know no limits. Our conviction unites us. Together, ‘stronger than a locomotive! Faster than a speeding bullet. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.’

At least it sure does feel that way, as I continue to document how “The Chain of Inspiration” has been grown and strengthened. Tomorrow, January 28th, marks the launch of the 2nd Impact Cub. The great Impact Venture Capitalists of Temecula have grown their wolf-pack to more than 160 founding members.

Quick math: 160 x $100

That’s a $16,000 check, at least – still one day to go – donated to a local charity.

I say, “Nice Work Team!”

My plane lands tomorrow morning in San Diego around 9am PST.

Can’t wait.

Next up, February 28th, the 3rd Impact Club – Frederick, MD.

“WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT?”

I get it.

It’s a logical question. Nobody does anything without a motive, right? That question is one I’ve been asked several times. As have my co-founders. So, allow me to answer it directly and succinctly:

“Legacy.

Outside of my wife, kids, family – I’ve never been more proud of anything in my life! So that’s what I get out of it. I want Impact Club to be a Legacy-Engine – for all of us… not just me… all of us! Because it takes all of us. I want Impact Club to be the strongest community in every community. That’s what I get out of it. To be belong to something bigger than myself.”

My beliefs and business practices are well-documented. For the better part of 2.5 years, I’ve done a weekly podcast. I have spoke to the evolution of the innovations that my partners and I have worked on. Josh Painter and I, first “met” back in 2014 sometime, when he purchased a copy of my book.

A few months later, we connected, and have been friends ever since. My relationships with Ryan Sloper, and Eric Verdi, who will be launching the 3rd Impact Club, go back even further; circa 2012.

I am very proud of my body of work. My main fascination? Movements. How they’re created. How they’re propagated. But mostly, how the collaboration of human potential can be used to Impact communities.

Here is a link to my podcast:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/agent-marketing-syndicate/id923111351

It is a rich evolution of my thoughts. If you ever want to know something about me, tune-in, because if it’s important, I’m sure to talk about it. Like when my Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor, about an inch in size. Ep 34 – I spoke to those who listened, my audience, choking on my own tears.

I talk marketing. Relationships. Business. Politics.

But mostly, I talk about Character. And achieving our highest Human Potential.

As I wrote Xiomara: “I’m an open book.”

I have nothing to hide, and everything now and in the future, will be presented and designed, only if it can push each of us (and Impact Club) to new, higher and higher levels of achievement.

ANOTHER QUESTION

My co-founder, Josh Painter was asked, “If 100 percent of the money goes directly to the charity then how is the venue, wine and beer, T shirts and shipping of T-shirts being covered.”

Good question, right?

And there’s a simple answer:

Josh Painter and I, right out of our own pockets.

I’m also flying down, for the first Temecula event, my videographer to document the event, from which we will create documentary shorts for each presenting charity. For future fundraising, these “Story Engines” will serve a valuable purpose. And since we’re on the topic. For the airfare. I will be covering that. For the hotel. I will be covering that. For the post-production work. I will be covering that. Etc… etc…

Impact Club has no bank accounts. We handle no money. We don’t process credit cards. Our only mission is to “grow & strengthen” the Chain of Inspiration. So that hopefully more people feel compelled to invest in the Story of their local community.

This is the concept of pure Impact Venture Capitalism.

As Impact Club grows, there may come a time when outside funding is needed. But first, we must demonstrate proof of concept. And that “testing,” as we rollout the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Impact clubs, is funded by me, my co-founders.

And not to worry…

When we have 100+ Impact Clubs making the kind of unparalleled Impact, like we’ve already seen in the first two rollouts, Northern VA and Temecula – I’ll go to Google and get a $5 million grant.

But I can’t take to “Google” an idea. I have to show them IMPACT. And trust me, I’m not proud. If I need to create a donation pool, to keep this thing going. I’ll ask. What we’re doing here, is simply too important.

UPDATE ON BUILD OUT

Humbly, I consider myself a decent storyteller.

Well, this past week. I was tested in my ability and capability. Impact Club, building the backend and trying to convey that vision to my tech team, brought me to my knees. For the first time in a long time, I didn’t know how to tell the story. I didn’t know how to weave the narrative, to connect the dots.

As I’ve said before, there is so much more to come!

I can’t wait to unveil it, when complete.

But this project, Impact Club, far and away, is the most challenging project I’ve ever worked on. And for 10 days, I felt like a child. I scribbled out notes and ideas, only to crumple those ideas into a ball. But my point here is this, don’t quit. Not ever. On what you believe is a worthy cause.

Because after 10 days of pulling my hair out, yesterday, on a call with my development team, I was able to convey that vision in a succinct 60-minute presentation. Outlining all the critical elements, and how they’d integrate!

Stay tuned.

CAN I GET A HELL YEA!

In the past 36 hours…

From my last count, hunting down as many as I could find. I counted more than 50 members, Impact Venture Capitalists, proudly wearing the Impact Club T-shirt and posting it on Facebook.

Above, just a small sample of those images.

I want you all to know, I mean REALLY KNOW, that your commitment to spread word has tangible impact on our communities? In the last 48 hours alone, we’ve seen over 40 new members join Impact Club Temecula.

That’s $4,000 (added) to each quarterly donation.

Over the next 12-months – $16,000 in (added) secured donation commitments.

So yes…

Oo-Rah! Impact Club Army!!!

WE WILL… IMPACT THE WORLD. WATCH US! ( – I say boldly to our doubters)

KEEP INSPIRING OTHERS!
