Through Impact Club, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, Impact Club, through Impact Venture Capitalism has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
MS South Canterbury has been supporting people with MS and their families for over 50 years. MS South Canterbury is one of 18 regional Societies throughout the Country that are divided into 4 clusters areas. South Canterbury is in the ‘Bottom of the South’ cluster with Otago and Southland. MSNZ has it’s office in Christchurch and is Governed by an Executive Board made up of Representatives from each cluster. Our Mission is to advocate for people with MS and their families and to have access to first world treatment, resources, and up to date information.
Alzheimers could affect you, or someone you love. It could be a parent, or a partner or even your child! This disease of the brain takes away your life and your future, little by little. It makes enormous demands on those you love the most, as they become your support team. Alzheimers South Canterbury is focused on sharing that journey with those that are affected by dementia and their family and friends. Individual support, education and information are all available, for both those with this disease and those in a support role.
