Northern Virginia Donates $9,800

Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

The Charities

The Arc of Loudoun
Helen Parker
Serving People with Disabilities

In 1967, a group of parents whose children had special needs formed The Arc of Loudoun, a 501(c)3 organization, to start a preschool for their children when no one else would. Since then, it’s grown into a full-service organization that advocates for and provides direct service to people with disabilities from the Northern VA area, as well as their families, caretakers, and working professionals.

HUGS (Help Us Grow Strong)
Annemarie Landry
Housing the Homeless

HUGS (Help Us Grow Strong) was founded to help the chronically homeless living in tent communities throughout Prince William County. Our belief is that people do NOT belong on the ground. Currently, there is a dire need for affordable housing in PWC. Nearly all shelters and most “rooms” do not allow pets, and those that are barely affordable do not have the ability to cook food in.

ShelterBox USA Inc.
Sarah Robinson
Disaster Relief

ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter and supplies to families devastated by natural disasters and conflict. Delivered by our volunteers, ShelterBoxes and ShelterKits contain materials to meet basic survival needs, to give hope, transform lives and help to rebuild communities.
