The Charities
The mission of Friends of Guest House is to provide formerly incarcerated women the structure, supervision, support, and assistance they need to move beyond who they were to become who they want to be. Since our founding in 1974,
Fifty years ago, ACTS’ founders began by addressing the most basic human needs of food and shelter. They established Prince William County’s first food bank, set up a used furniture distribution system, and developed a homeless shelter in local churches.
ShelterBox is a disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter and supplies to families devastated by natural disasters and conflict. Delivered by our volunteers, ShelterBoxes and ShelterKits contain materials to meet basic survival needs.
