Through Impact Club, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, Impact Club, through Impact Venture Capitalism has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
Today, hundreds of parents walked out of a hospital or doctor’s office having just received the devastating news that their child has special needs. They wonder what their life is going to look like and how to navigate this new world of seemingly endless therapy appointments, doctor visits, hospital stays and sleepless nights. Often, they slip into the. pit of hopelessness, despair and isolation. Rising Above Ministries was birthed from their struggles as special needs parents. They wanted to bring hope, support and encouragement to families like themselves.
