Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
The Bettie Jane Cancer foundation was formed in 2011 after our leader, Bettie Jane Bryant, received treatment for breast cancer. She realized the significant cost of health care and other expenses during her treatment. With her leadership, her dance students and staff organized the first Annual 5K Walk which started our journey.
The Frederick Children’s Chorus was founded in 1985 on the principle that any child, regardless of training or financial standing, should be able to become the best singer they can be. We offer music education by highly trained leaders and educators at low-cost tuition or financial assistance for those who qualify.
Heartly House makes a difference in our community by providing comprehensive services to all victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. By ensuring immediate safety, empowering victims to break their silence and end the cycle of violence, Heartly House helps make our community a safer place to live.
