The Charities
I Believe In Me, Inc. is a youth development non-profit that provides mentoring, reading and math programs, self-esteem and character building, socialization in society, financial literacy, and group activities for underprivileged youth in the community.
AARCH was originally formed in 2001 by Bill Lee (1928-2004), an African American educator, former Frederick City Alderman, and community leader. As a result of the efforts of the Frederick Historic Sites Consortium of the Tourism Council of Frederick County to preserve the local history and culture of African Americans, AARCH became a viable organization.
The Frederick Food Security Network (FFSN) is a community gardening program developed by Hood College. Since its beginning in 2017, we have been successfully working with community partners to establish a network of gardens in Frederick, MD.
