Eugene: Donates $9,800

Through Impact Club, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, Impact Club, through Impact Venture Capitalism has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

Branches of Valor
Chris Adsit
Dealing With Stress & Trauma

The Adsits founded BOV here in Eugene in 2011, after having served with Cru Military since 2005. Reboot Combat Recovery and BOV merged in January of this year. Our visions and missions were so similar, we decided to combine forces. Our main approach is to host Resiliency Groups that enable participants to be better equipped to deal with the stress and trauma associated with their service. Our materials combine best practices from the medical and mental health communities with the timeless principles from the Bible.

Looking Glass Community Services

Our programs span the diverse fields of mental health, alcohol and drug abuse support, basic human services, juvenile justice, education, youth development, and workforce readiness. Our mission is to “build a better future for children, youth, adults, and families by helping them navigate the challenges of childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.” We are committed to helping our clients develop the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges, so that they can lead healthier, happier, and more productive lives.

Mckenzie River Trust

Protecting Special Lands

McKenzie River Trust helps people protect and care for the lands and rivers they cherish in western Oregon. The McKenzie River Trust acquires property interests in land with clear public benefits to ensure that those values will be available to people for many generations. The Trust works to enhance and reestablish the native vegetation, water cycles and other functional ecosystem elements appropriate to the places we protect. Connecting people to places they care about.
