Conejo Valley: Donates $7,000
Through Impact Club, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, Impact Club, through Impact Venture Capitalism has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
Our Goal is to bring HOPE to families, children and young adults with special needs! We are the only provider or agency in our county and many others that offers partial & full scholarships and other funding, in order for parents to provide their developmentally challenged children with opportunities to access programs, necessary treatments and interventions in order to thrive and become all that they can be! Center4SpecialNeeds continues their mission: To provide on- site therapeutic services and programs for individuals with special needs.
Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank has been providing food assistance to our friends and neighbors in need for more than 45 years. Our mission is simple — “To feed hungry people in the Conejo Valley”. Our pantry provides food to some 12,000 people annually, received from more than 1,700 food drives and collections. We partner with retailers, organizations and individuals to acquire the more than 350,000 pounds of food we need annually to support hungry families, seniors and disabled people during our three day a week pantry distribution.
Many Mansions provides ‘hope and homes’ with the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty. We are a nonprofit affordable housing and service provider. Founded in 1979, we provide affordable rental housing in the Conejo Valley and throughout Ventura County for persons and families who are very low income, homeless, and/or disabled. Many Mansions is Ventura County’s leading provider of supportive affordable housing—housing for persons and families who were chronically homeless (homeless for more than one year) and who have disability. We own, develop, and manage the housing.
