Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
Chartered as a local Boys & Girls Club in 2007, the Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai offers after school, full day and summer programs to nearly 4,000 registered members in Post Falls and Coeur d’ Alene. Programs focusing on social recreation, physical recreation, STEAM, leadership, education, nutrition and self esteem are just a few examples of daily activities.
The Post Falls Food Bank operates as a multi-service food bank market, addressing a wide variety of community needs. We provide not only supplemental nutritious food to families living in poverty, but offer education on nutrition and cooking, budgeting, and meal planning. We also provide a resource specialist who helps our families navigate through the often confusing social services network to address other basic needs issues.
The Inland Northwest SIDS Foundation was founded in 2012 by a group of women passionate about supporting families and reducing infant death from unsafe sleep accidental deaths in our community. We realized there were absolutely no resources for those affected by the death of their babies or any agency dedicated to providing safe infant sleep education; thus, Inland Northwest SIDS Foundation was formed.
