Boise: Donates $16,900

Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and, have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning, a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

The Charities

Interfaith Sanctuary
Jodi Peterson
From Shelters to Cubicles

Interfaith Sanctuary is a homeless shelter located in downtown Boise and serves 164 people of all genders, races, religions, and sexual orientation, as well as families with children, by providing safe overnight emergency shelter, a warm meal and practical services to transition out of homelessness. Interfaith Sanctuary’s City of Boise Park & Recreation Work Program started as a part time opportunity for 6 guests; now, it is a 4 day, 32 hour a week job for 28 guests staying at our shelter. We provide a work program case manager, transportation to and from work along with a nutritious lunch.

Idaho Diaper Bank
Shawna Walz
Ensuring Access to Diapers

Formed to address the silent crisis of diaper need, Idaho Diaper Bank began in 2014 with a mission to provide diapers through a collaboration with other social service agencies that have direct client services. Diapers can’t be purchased with food stamps or WIC, and represent a significant portion of the monthly budget for the Idaho families struggling to provide basic necessities like food, shelter and hygiene. We have provided over 1 million diapers to babies in need and continue to provide 50,000 per month to fifty agencies including domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, early learning programs, low income health centers, and foodbanks.

Boise Bicycle Project
Kelly McDonnell
Bicycle Initiative Betters Community

Boise Bicycle Project functions as a bicycle recycling center as well as an educational workspace in a diverse and non-threatening atmosphere. Through education and access to affordable refurbished bicycles BBP strives to build a stronger bicycling community. We believe that Boise has the potential to be the cycling capital of America and envision the Boise Bicycle Project as one of the key community leaders to help it reach that potential. By collaborating with other likeminded organizations and members in the community, we hope to strengthen lives far beyond the bicycle.
