Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and, have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning, a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids, the NICK Foundation, is an organization founded in 2009, by a local family that experienced the effects of childhood cancer. During this trying period of their lives they discovered that there was a great need for support and resources for families enduring childhood cancer in Northwest Indiana. The Foundation provides support to families through partnership and attentive care.
ABRA, Inc (All Breed Rescue Angels) is a dedicated group of volunteers saving animals from euthanasia and pulling them out of horrific conditions. We are a foster based rescue, which means we do not have a shelter. All of our animals are located in foster homes with our volunteers. Our main focus is to save as many lives as we can from shelters before their “time is up.”
The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana is the largest hunger relief organization in Northwest Indiana, and the only food bank serving Lake and Porter counties. Since 1982, the Food Bank has provided countless nutritious meals to hungry neighbors across the Region, and in 2017 distributed a record-breaking 4.5 million meals into the community.
