Women In Bloom, Inc.

Women in Bloom (WIB) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2009 to benefit women with their personal and professional development. It is based in Valparaiso, Indiana and is a sister organization to Business Women United Network. The founder, Angela Crossin, along with her former business partner, saw a need to address the lack of resources and opportunities for women falling into lower socio-economic strata, young women, and female veterans. Both of them had family members who were involved in combat and know firsthand the personal sacrifices made by our military families. Our clientele includes: Female Veterans, Young Female Careerists (Ages 14-22), Under-Resourced Women. Our programs and events include: “Dressing for Success” Clothing Drives Mentorships, Scholarships ($4500 distributed in 2016 and 2017), Financial Assistance, Sponsorships of organizations serving our client population Drug Awareness and, Prevention Program, Hour of Coding, Jesse Meredith Memorial 5K (2018), Annual Holiday Expo.
