The Jesse Tree of Idaho
Jesse Tree has 20 years of experience providing homeless prevention services to our neighbors experiencing a housing crisis and at risk of homelessness. In 1999, our founders pooled funding to create the Emergency Rental Assistance Program to provide financial assistance to low-income renters at risk of becoming homeless. Since then, the program has supported over 3,000 families and 8,000 individuals, administering over $2.5 million in rental assistance. Jesse Tree is the only eviction and homeless prevention-focused organization in the Treasure Valley. We are working on the front lines of the housing crisis, providing support and emergency rental assistance to our low-income neighbors experiencing a temporary financial crisis. We offer the following programs and services: case management to people experiencing eviction, landlord-tenant mediation to help households improve communication skills, become self-advocates, address their needs, and build a strong relationship with their landlord, and connect renters being summoned to eviction court with social, financial, and legal assistance to prevent them from getting an eviction on their record and becoming homeless.
