Second Chances Garage Inc.

With a passion for cars and helping those in need, Second Chances Garage makes a difference in Frederick County, Maryland, by offering “second chances” to individuals and families on their journey to independent living. We refurbished donated vehicles to meet MD state inspection standards then turn over the title and keys to new owners. Local partner agencies refer car recipients to us based on strict selection criteria that include income level, current employment, safe driving record, and the need for a vehicle to drive to work, school, vital appointments, or maintain close family ties. Second Chances Garage is pleased to have received recent notification that we have been awarded the 2021 William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award for Frederick County. A ceremony with state and local officials is being planned.
