The Charities
House of Mercy was founded as a prayer ministry, but as most know, prayer calls us to action. They began by feeding people experiencing homelessness and washing their feet but the mission quickly grew to help more people in Northern Virginia
STEAM continues to be out of reach for many kids, due to cost, access, interest, geography, and transportation. That’s why the Kuma Foundation is breaking down these barriers. Traditional STEAM programs are expensive; we eliminate this barrier to entry to STEAM enrichment.
Project Horse Empowerment Center is a non-profit that delivers outstanding mental health and wellness services by connecting children, teens, and adults with therapy horses in order to build coping skills, deal with emotional, behavioral, or cognitive challenges.
