Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

The Charities

Kids FIRST

Path to Healing

Kids FIRST is Lane County’s Children’s Advocacy Center. We provide intervention and advocacy for children who are victims of, or witnesses to crime. Kids FIRST is uniquely poised to provide intervention services at a most critical time– right after a child’s initial disclosure of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and/or witness to violence. The path to healing begins at Kids FIRST. Our in-house services include forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, advocacy, and grand jury. We do this all under one roof so that a child isn’t further traumatized by visits to the hospital, child welfare offices, police stations, court rooms and beyond. In 2018, we served 709 children. Today, Kids FIRST is experiencing exciting change and growth. Our current lease is coming to an end and we will be moving to a new building that can better support the needs of our community. We have initiated a Capital Campaign to support the extensive renovations needed to support this transition and growth. Our program goals for the new building are to provide the best intervention services to child victims of abuse while adding mental health services onsite, increasing safety and security for staff, and adding child sexual abuse prevention trainings.

Healthy Moves

Improving Health

We’re a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health of kids through physical activity at school. When kids are more active with their bodies, they’re healthier, they’re better students, and they’re happier human beings. Please join us in supporting better health and better lives for local kids. Healthy Moves brings movement, fitness and fun to elementary students in the Eugene-Springfield areas. We have started to work in the rural school districts as well. Due to school budget cuts, many physical education programs have been eliminated. Healthy Moves trainers work with students and their teachers to demonstrate fitness activities and deliver a model for the teacher to use for PE classes.

Inspire All Learners

Reality Kitchen Nonprofit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization running a job skills training program supporting young adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer employment experiences paying a competitive wage operating a wholesale bakery and retail cafe. Our mission is to offer employment path experiences designed to nourish and inspire all learners, with and without disabilities, to thrive personally and professionally with supports and resources in a community inclusive setting. In this workplace setting we run a retail cafe and wholesale bakery on River Road serving many and diverse local food service businesses and restaurants. We have been recognized as the alternative to sheltered workshops in Lane County and offer a unique educational experience. Through the work we do in our bakery, our retail cafe and the Pretzel Wagon we are modeling our alternative approach to educating and preparing these individuals to successfully realize their employment and personal independence goals. Gaining self-confidence, socialization skills, personal management in a workplace environment, as well as in the larger community is at the core of our work with those we serve.
