Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and, have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning, a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
Golden Heart Ranch (GHR) provides teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to reach their fullest potential and enjoy meaningful, satisfying and joyful lives. We are an inclusive community where young adults with special needs learn, work and create lifelong friendships in a supportive and caring environment.
Founded in 1971 by a group of people who felt that no person should ever go hungry in the Conejo Valley, Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank has been providing food assistance to our friends and neighbors in need for more than 40 years; and have made it our mission — “To feed hungry people in the Conejo Valley”. Manna is situated in a 700 square-foot house in the “Old Town” area of Thousand Oaks.
The Arc of Ventura County was established in 1954 by a group of parents dedicated to one purpose – to improve the quality of life for their children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Over 60 years have passed and our vision remains the same: all people with I/DD have the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work and play.
