Through Impact Club, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine,” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, Impact Club, through Impact Venture Capitalism has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.

Financial Assistance For SCD

The LucStrong Foundation is a nonprofit charity providing grants to families with children (between the ages of 1 and 18) who are diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and are going through the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) process. The goal of the LucStrong Foundation is to help alleviate some of the financial burdens of families who have a child in the transplant process. SCD occurs in about 1 out of every 365 African American births and about 1 out of every 16,300 Latino – American births. The only known cure for SCD is a Bone Marrow Transplant, in which the cost is extensive.

Special Needs Program

Golden Heart Ranch (GHR) provides teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to reach their fullest potential and enjoy meaningful, satisfying and joyful lives. GHR Social Living Club is a hands-on program that teaches both practical living and social skills with highly skilled coaches. Programs include cooking, track for exercise, supper clubs, challenger baseball, spring, summer and winter camps along with a host of other programs and vocational training opportunities.

The Arc promotes and protects the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through services that actively support their full inclusion and participation in the community. The Arc’s services include support in independent living and employment; and day programs that offer a place to develop friendships, express creativity, and connect with the community. Our two thrift stores turn your household donations into opportunities for over 700 adults in Ventura County.
