Through ImpactClub®, as Impact Venture Capitalists, we invest heavily in local charities that demonstrate a powerful “Story Engine” and have proven their willingness to fight for their cause – by competing in and winning a high-stakes competition. As a result, ImpactClub®, through Impact Venture Capitalism, has dramatically multiplied the Impact that a single person can have on charities in their local community.
The Charities
The Inland Northwest SIDS Foundation was founded in 2012 by a group of women passionate about supporting families and reducing infant death from unsafe sleep accidental deaths in our community. We realized there were absolutely no resources for those affected by the death of their babies.
Team Hoyt. Coeur d’ Alene pairs up special needs riders with able bodied runners so as to compete in local running races and triathlons. We supply everything the special needs rider needs to participate at no cost, including the running chair.
Twelve years ago, my husband and our kids, ages 2 and 4, volunteered to bake Papa Murphy’s for three homeless families of Family Promise at our home congregation. It was just us, sharing a meal with people we did not know. We provided the basic need for food, and our presence at the building meant they had shelter.
