Education Without Walls

Education Without Walls provides motivated, yet at-risk teens with the skills and confidence needed to help them break the cycle of chronic poverty. Education Without Walls provides full scholarships for students, covering 100% of all costs associated with participation in meaningful outdoor adventure expeditions and a weekly mentorship program. During the expeditions students kayak, rock climb, surf, and backpack while participating in a hands-on leadership curriculum.  This curriculum targets 6 aspects of a student’s character development; confidence, communication, self-actualization, decision-making, civic responsibility, and leadership. Students also learn environmental science and outdoor technical skills. Education Without Walls merges meaningful outdoor adventures with ongoing mentorship to help motivated teen living in chronic poverty develop their talents and achieve personal and academic dreams.
