Refuge Place NWI
Refuge Place NWI launched August 8, 2017. This organization was launched from my own life. In my own personal life I have been through many different struggles. I dealt with depression, anxiety, abuse, struggling with my sexual identity, and numerous other difficult times in my life. I know what it is like to feel like you have no hope. I know what it’s like to feel miserable and want to die. I know what its like to feel completely alone. Out of those feelings, came a dream. A dream of a place of refuge. A place where people could come and find the help they need. A place where people could know that they are not alone. A place where resources and help can be found.
