Our Nicholas Foundation

Our Nicholas Foundation was created in 2005 by the parents of Nicholas Anselmo who was diagnosed with Autism at the age of two. As they began intense therapies for their son, both at home and at school, they realized the incredible need locally for financial support for local special needs classrooms and the need for a sense of community for families like them. ONF’s initial vision was to create wish lists for local teachers and eventually provided over 3000 much needed items (speech assistive technology, therapy tools and more) but 12 years later ONF is much more. We have after-school programs that includes sports activities, play dates, family outings and more. Included in our Sports division is the “Kick with Nick” soccer league, which is now the largest of its kind in California. We have also recently opened the ONF Autism Resource and Event Center in Temecula, a long-standing dream of ours to provide multiple resources under one roof. ONF’s mission is to increase autism awareness and provide support for education, work opportunities, therapies, families, and social programs that enrich the lives of children & adults with ASD. Our hope is that we will provide those on the spectrum and their families the tools they need to thrive. We are 100% Volunteer-ran and exist solely because of the generosity of people in this community like you.
