Frederick Rescue Mission

We are a Christ-centered ministry providing residential recovery programs to the homeless or chemically addicted, food to the hungry, clothing and furniture to the needy and connection within our community through relationships. The Mission serves breakfast and lunch 365 days a year to anyone in need of a meal. We currently serve over 100 meals for breakfast and 250 – 300 for lunch. The Mission’s Food Distribution Center offers families and individuals free donated perishable goods, which they can take home with them to help provide food for themselves and their families. Once a month, guests have the opportunity to request the items they need and search the clothing “storeroom” adjacent to the Mission. Faith House provides a loving, Christ-centered place for homeless women and children in Frederick as they embark on a 90-day journey to discover their purpose and to find healing and hope. Changed Life Recovery Program designed to help men reclaim their lives following homelessness and/or addiction. We now house over 40 men in the year-long program. The Mission hosts events encouraging and supporting those we serve by building relationships, offering engaging activities, events include Might Mondays (summer Vacation Bible School program), ASL classes, Bible studies, and Life Skills classes.
