Our Story
Circle of Care was founded in September 1999, with the mission to serve local families in need with food and other every day necessities We started on the weekly grocery money of Chuck & Terri Keim. The first grocery distribution site was in a neighborhood of low income families on Pujol Street and served 20 families. Since then CoC serves approximately 850 families per week with grocery and like kind items from a 2,000 square foot warehouse located in the Crossroads Church/Reliant Food’s building on Ynez, in the City of Temecula. Our goal is to tangibly assist those in need by bringing together those in need with the those (individuals and corporate resources) who care. Grocery and like kind products for distribution come from Albertsons, Vons and other Feeding America participants. We also receive goods from our local Costco and Feed the Children. Local restaurant participants come through Donation Connection. The funding we operate on comes from a federal grant, City of Temecula grant, local institutions and individuals. Additional Christmas project assistance comes from Toys For Tots and Pechanga Casinos. Our annual Christmas program serves approximately 2,100 children. We look forward to participating with Impactclub, thank you.
