Our Story
Thrive Housing Network is a local non-profit that serves kids and families impacted by incarceration. For the past 10 years, we have provided summer camps, a mentorship program, and fun events to help provide hope and stability to the families we serve. All our programs are provided completely free thanks to generous donations and support from our local community. In addition, we provide all the necessary and accessory items for camp including shirts, sweatshirts, toiletry items, sleeping bags, pillows, backpacks, etc. Each summer we serve between 400-500 youth and camp is a jam-packed, outrageously fun camp experience for kids who often don’t get this same opportunity. We partner with local churches and community partners to provide around 150 volunteers for our summer camps in order to meet every need of the campers. After camp, we invite campers and volunteers to join our mentorship program where they will meet weekly and the mentor will serve as a positive, adult role model. In 2016 we launched our summer camp and follow-up programs in Salem, Oregon to be able to serve the kids and families of the northern Willamette Valley. Over the years, we have been able to serve over 1200 kids impacted by incarceration!
