Our Story

Community Partnership Pantry, Inc. was founded in 2019 to address the hidden epidemic of food insecurity among teenagers. With multiple access points for students, our program connects food-insecure students to healthy food options so that they can perform confidently in the classroom and beyond. Working primarily out of Governor Thomas Johnson High School (known as the TJ Patriot Pantry), we work closely with the Administration, Community Liaisons and Coaching Staff to ensure that all students who struggle with food-insecurity understand the resources available to them free of charge. From our Basic Bag of Groceries program to our Grab-n-Go snack bags, we focus on providing both nutritional and educational resources in a way the communicates respect, care and concern for the Student and their family so they feel supported by their community.
