Our Story
Charity for Charity fulfills wishes to individuals with a life-threatening illness or traumatic injury. Each year, Charity for Charity selects 3 main beneficiaries, a child, a young adult, and an adult. We host a large event where we present our beneficiaries with their wishes in front of our supporters. Some wishes we have granted include mechanical hands and swimming legs, a trip to Paris for our young adult who suffered a brain aneurysm, our child beneficiary who (and later passed away) was sent to New York for a Jets game complete with a coaches suite, field passes and meet and greet. Smaller wishes include brightening someone’s day with a bouquet of balloons to their hospital room. In total, we have granted approx. 500 wishes. This year, Charity for Charity launched a team of motivational speakers known as The Unstoppables. The team of 6, an autistic blind musical savant, a single mother of 2 who lost all 4 limbs due to sepsis, a boy born with severe cerebral palsy, a high school quarterback who lost his leg after being hit on the football field, a girl who suffered a brain aneurysm and several strokes at 13, and a woman who was struck by a distracted driver.
