Our Story
Health and wellness are part of life in the home, at work, and within our community. When something unexpected occurs, Cascade Health is there to make life better by providing services that include home health and hospice, occupational health, employee wellness, behavioral health, and chronic disease management. For more than 30 years, Cascade Health has provided charitable community health services to Lane County. Many of our services were initiated as part of Springfield’s McKenzie-Willamette Hospital in the early 1980s. In 2003, McKenzie-Willamette Hospital formed a new company, McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, which is jointly owned and operated by Triad. When this occurred, we became an independent, non-profit health organization. Through collaboration and cooperation, we work closely with other health organizations to collectively improve our community’s health and well-being. Our mission is to improve quality of life in our community by helping to support and provide quality, charitable, compassionate healthcare now, and for generations to come through philanthropic programs and services. We are unique in that we are community-based, solution focused and patient centered, responsive, innovative, and dedicated to quality outcomes. The bottom line: Cascade Health is an organization that cares about people and their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
