Our Story

Boise Vertical Farm is a nonprofit that supports people in recovery from drugs and alcohol. We provide a clean and sober environment for people to establish or reestablish a resume. We accept volunteers who work in our greenhouses and garden-growing operations. While growing greens, microgreens, edible flowers, and herbs our participants establish a work history and earn a chance to have work references and a record for being clean and sober. We sell the produce that is grown to Restaurants, Farmer’s Markets, and at Boise Coop. The money received is reinvested into our program to help more people.
