Our Story
TRICA provides successful arts education programming within schools, libraries, and other venues throughout the Treasure Valley for children ages 2-12 years. The arts have a unique and profound power to inspire children towards a higher standard of excellence, encouraging them to engage creatively and productively with the world. Our mission: to provide meaningful experiences in the arts taught by outstanding and loving educators, inspiring children to develop attitudes and values that contribute to a stronger sense of community, humanity, and good will. In 2007, TRICA began to forge our Center for Learning and the Arts, a home base for our programs, and purchased a historic sandstone building. Upon opening, we will conservatively triple the number of children we serve by expanding existing programs and launching new ones- all in response to community demand. We are invested in both the education of our children and the preservation of this historic site. In the final stages of this renovation project, this is a critical time to raise remaining funds needed to bring this vision to fruition. By having a home, TRICA can exist and grow for generations to come and, as always, no child is turned away for inability to pay.
