Our Story
Camp Schreiber breaks down barriers that keep young men in our community from getting to and through college. We seek to break the cycle of poverty by igniting generational change that can impact the world one college-educated leader at a time. Our mission is driven by three goals, to: create opportunity, provide experience, and deliver exposure. Students are selected for admission during their 6th grade year and remain part of the Camp Schreiber Family until the date of their college graduation. During this time, students attend four hours of small group tutoring per week and receive personalized academic support and leadership coaching. For one week a year, students fly to Schreiber Island to camp in the Canadian wilderness.
